Dear Mr. O'Hara,
I once again demand information regarding the rental status of all apartments and houses owned by my mother, Doris M. Rich.
It is to be recalled that on July 29, 1994, I and my mother agreed to a stipulation which provided that all of the apartments would be rented. The reason for this stipulation was that Myrna had obstructed the rental of these apartments for a number of years, thereby depriving my mother of hundreds of thousands of dollars of rental income.
One of my primary reasons for agreeing to this stipulation was to end this situation where numerous valuable properties had stood empty for as much as ten years, because Myrna refused to rent to blacks and other minorities, to unmarried couples, to people who smoked, to people who had children or pets, plus Myrna would not answer the phone, would not show the apartments and so on, because she always got all the money she ever requested from her mother anyway.
At the time of this stipulation, we agreed that Delvita Hoover, a person selected by you, would be the property manager. Previously, a Mr. Shipley had been proposed, but he had been rejected by your side, because Neel wanted to control the selection of the property manager.
From my own observation, it seems that none of the vacant apartments I am aware of have been rented. One apartment behind my mother's house has been vacant for the last four years, after Myrna evicted the previous tenant because he had a black girlfriend. You have directed Delvita Hoover not to speak to me. The last I am aware, Ms. Hoover did not even have the keys to one-half of the apartments and houses owned by my mother.
Since the property manager was selected by you and you therefore have access to her, I once again demand information about the apartments.
Very Truly Yours,
Arden Van Upp
