My name is Rankoth Pedigedera Dayawathie. I was born in Kandy, Sri Lanka on 1 February 1969. My family lives in Bowalawatta, Kandy, Sri Lanka on Hirasegela Road, near the Hanton Estates.

I live in Long Island City, in Queens, New York City, USA. I have four children. The names of my children are Michael , George , Anusha and Geeta .

I have written some true stories about my life in Sri Lanka. Here is a story entitled My Myna Bird .
