Diana was seen yesterday at the Matsu No Zushi Restaurant in Chigasaki, Japan, which is near Kagawa Station on the Sagami Line.
Diana was eating whale, a delicacy denied the Princess of Wales during her years as a princess.
Diana would not allow herself to be photographed and had no comment.
Last year, Matsu No Zushi Restaurant made the news when it offered to buy Keiko, the Killer Whale, for one million dollars. Keiko is best known for "Free Willy" fame.
