H. T. Sloan, a member of the Odd Fellow Old Folks Home colony since August 1939, died at 2:25 this morning in the Home Hospital, where he had been a patient since a short time after entering the institution. Death was due to a paralytic stroke. Mr Sloan was 66 years old.
The body will be taken to Chicago later today where funeral arrangements will be made. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in that city. Mr. Sloan came to the home from Chicago, where two of three sons reside.
