Hello Mr. Sloan,I wish to clarify to you that Mitchie B. Pryor did not die in 1816 after bearing her child John Randolph Jefferson of her marriage to Randolph Jefferson. Said Mitchie Pryor Jefferson afterward married one Josiah Johnson in Williamson County Tennessee in 1819 by who she had a second child named James Monroe Johnson who is my ancestor. I have a Chancery Court case transcript that deals with the division of the estate of her mother Susannah Pryor (Mrs. David Pryor) that confirms the children of Mitchie by Randolph and by Josiah Johnson. John Randolph Jefferson is indeed buried in the Old City Cemetery of Nashville, TN.
He was married to one Amanda Gillman. He died in 1845.
Mitchie died sometime between 1819 and 1825. Josiah Johnson remarried to one Fereby Hyde in Williamson Co. TN in 1825
