For more than 30 years, International Master Sinisa Joksic has been one of the world's most respected journalists, teachers and trainers in the field of chess.
Recently, Mr. Joksic has been in a position to make some observations concerning the US bombing of Belgrade. Here are his observations:
I enjoy very much your articles, although a rain of the bombs and missiles is falling down on my town. If you remember me and our chats in Abu Dhabi, I didn't change. I am still optimistic. So, this match with NATO murderers and saxophone player, we are going to win, for sure.
Well, that is not the reason of my writing. In your very nice article about my friend Bobby (by the way, I agree with you) you mention that Bobby and Boris played the match in Kosovo, what is not true. The first part of the match they played at Sveti Stefan, one of the most beautiful island in Adriatic Sea. The second part was in Belgrade. Sveti Stefan is in Montenegro and Belgrade is capital town of Serbia and Yugoslavia, too.
I want you to be elected in the board of USCF and to be the President!

PS. I couldn't send yesterday the line was broken. So, I have to send today, April, 6 when Hitler's air forces 58 years ago, the first time bombed Belgrade without announce the war. Old fashion. New Nazi-NATO and new Hitler bombed Belgrade already two weeks. Also without announce, and permission of UN.

I am happy to hear from you. I want to comment on the political situation over there.
Every time we turn on the TV over here, we see tens of thousands of people huddled at the borders trying to get out of Kosovo, freezing babies and old people dying of exposure. These people have been forced from their homes at gun point by the Serbian Army and Serbian police and put onto trains for the border.
According to the news over here, more than 600,000 people have been forced from their homes in just the past few days. These people will sit at the border until they die or are allowed to return to their homes in Kosovo, simply because there are too many of them and no countries can take them all.
I can tell you that until these people are allowed to return their homes, the bombing of Belgrade will never stop. I am not expressing a political view as to who is right or wrong. I am telling you the reality. If the Serbian Army does not withdraw from Kosovo, the bombing will never stop. If all the bridges and power stations and telephone and communications facilities in Yugoslavia are destroyed and the Serbian Army is still in Kosovo, the United States Army will eventually invade with ground troops and fight house to house in Belgrade until the Serbian Army is destroyed and Milosevic is killed.
This is going to happen, absolutely. I do not know what the news is telling you over there in Yugoslavia but it must not be showing you the pictures we are seeing over here because then you would understand the reality of the situation.

I am very surprise, Sam. You have never been a naive artist. I can't believe that you trust propaganda of neo-Nazi media such as CNN and similar criminals. They are not journalist, they don't have any moral, they are simple lying, they work for money.
The war criminals from NATO attacked my country on March 24, with bombs and missiles, tearing down a building, mostly civil, killing everybody. Do you believe that the bombs differentiate between Serbs and Albanians? The truth is that refugees appear AFTER bombing. They lost homes, war disaster make it. They are war refugees. It is not true that Yugoslav Army force them out from their homes. Human beings have fear of the death and, death and disaster bringing NATO killers. You can also find Serbs refugees on the other side. Difference is only that Albanians are saved on the border but Serbs are not. NATO murderers succeed them in killing children, women, old people. They destroy buildings, schools, hospitals, historical monuments. Who gave them that right? We have United Nations, we have the Security Council there. Do you know that nobody can make any action, any attack, without permission of the Security Council? They didn't get it, they even didn't ask it. They think that they can do everything with power. Stupid Clinton, sexual pervert, who escaped from Vietnam war and now pushes thousand of young Americans in nonsense war. Do you really think that USA have some vital interest in Yugoslavia, in Kosovo? Who do they think that they are? Policemen on duty? They are without any moral, they are corrupt liars. Sam, don't forget that person, who used the cigar for Monica, instead of natural thing can be normal!! Adolf Clinton doesn't like Milosevic. (I am not his supporter, by the way.) He doesn't like Saddam Hussein, he doesn't like anybody. He is a sick guy. Maybe he likes Madeleine Albright. She is sick, too. I am not sure that even you would like to fuck her.
Do you know, Sam, that NATO is a defense organization. They can't attack anybody. My country Yugoslavia is an independent state, one of the founders of UN. My country did not attack anybody. Finally my country is not a "banana" state.
Do you know who made "humanitarian catastrophe"? NATO with killing innocent people, with brutal attack on civil. Who can take the right to kill innocent people for any other excuse. Excuse for murderers doesn't exist. I remember our discussion in Abu Dhabi Chess Club about Sri Lanka people. About power, about money. Well, NATO is the strongest military force that has ever been in the world. They attack a small country like Yugoslavia. Brutal attacks continued more than two weeks. They can't do anything to Yugoslav Army, and that is reason why they attack civilian people. Till now NATO lost more than 20 airplanes (F 117A stealth, too), Americans soldiers begin to come back in plastic bags. I hope that their mothers will ask monster Clinton why he killed them.
NATO can continue with bombing. They are bombing exactly now during my writing. I am on 4th floor with my mother, she is 90 years and my new wife. I lost my wife in the first part of Yugoslav crack.
Sam, I am not afraid. I am sorry that I am not young to fight with cowardly NATO criminals. I am sure that they will finish on some "Nuremberg" court. Killed so many people and stays unpunished. It is not possible.
I would like to meet some of brave soldiers, criminals of neo-Nazi. Do you really believe that USA will invade ground troops and fight house by house in Belgrade...
Sam, you have to study little bit of history. We fight with aggressor in two world wars, and won. We have experience with fascist. My father had Hitler and I have Clinton. Of course, Clinton is the worse but the end will be the same.
Sam, we defend our country and that is more easy than attack. Like in chess. We are fighting with hearts, we have reason and we will win.
Ramsay Clark visited Belgrade and Yugoslavia two days ago. I hope you will read his impressions about war and about Yugoslavia.
I hope to be right. Then I'll pay you dinner, when I meet you, of course as the President of USCF.

It's start with bombing. If you killing and bombing you have to move. In the same time, terrorists from the ground, drive poor people out of the homes. Before bombing you could not find ANY refugees. On TV you can make scenario. They take of footwear, socks and stockings, just to make photo, to show you and American people. They need excuse for criminal aggression.

That was one day but where are now. That was simple extra for NATO film. Of course some of them save the lives from brutal bombing. You did wonder where are young people? I can tell you that until these people are allowed to return their homes, the bombing of Belgrade will never stop. I am not expressing a political view as to who is right or wrong.
They will come back when the bombing stop. Only problem is to order the moves. The first bombing must stop. Another important thing, we don't want any American or NATO soldiers in Yugoslavia, in Kosovo. About your political view is the clear, it's coming from CNN directly.

I am really surprise with your thinking. The bridges, power stations, telephone and communications facilities is the part of our civilization and civilization of 21st century. Nobody have right to demolish it even your Billy. About Yugoslav or Serbian Army you are making mistake. In this moment it is not Army, it is people, all people who live here, not only Serbs. Clinton, Albright and US administration can hate Milosevic but not to kill ONE innocence person. All of them met Milosevic so many time, chat with him, drink with him.

I can either leave your name off and delete all identifying information, such as the fact that you and I know each other from Abu Dhabi, or I can leave that information on.
Please understand that if I post your letter publicly, it will be read by tens of thousands of people. Some of them might not like what you say. At the same time, you have a point of view which is clearly entitled to be heard.
Of course, if I publicly post your letter, I will try to improve your English while not making any substantive changes.
