Donna Kay Funkhouser, 61, of Boyce, formerly of Mt. Jackson, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Funkhouser was born April 18, 1943, in Salina, Kan., the daughter of Antonio and Nellie Howell Lemos.
She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Columbia Furnace Church of the Brethren. She graduated from college in Germany.
She was married to Charles Raye Funkhouser, who died in January 1977.
Surviving with her parents, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., are four children, Leonard Lee Funkhouser of Fort Valley, Lane Laird Funkhouser of Boyce, Lorne Lewis Funkhouser of New Market, and Lori Lynn Funkhouser of Strasburg; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Columbia Furnace Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. William Fitchett officiating. A time of fellowship and a meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private.
