Sam - I have found our family connection. My great great grandmother Stina Carlsson was Peter Cassel sister. How about that!!!! My cousins and I went to Kisa last June and saw Peter's mill. We also visited the farm, Korpklef, where my great grandfather was a tenant farmer and drove down a road to the cabin that they lived in per family records. How exciting that was!!! We plan to revisit next year 2007.
Stina Carlsson married Erik Eriksson and they had Gustava Maria Eriksdotter and she married Jacob Andersson and emigranted to New Sweden Iowa in 1968 and lived with Ingeborg and farmed the land. I have many pictures of your great grandmother Carrie and my family were living in the home with her and attended her wedding. How about that!!!
