In the baby carriage is my daughter Jessica, who was less than two months old. Jessica was born on September 14, 1988.

This photo was taken during the World Chess Olympiad in Salonika, Greece, in November, 1988.

On October 9, 1990, two years after this photo was taken, my daughter Shamema was kidnapped by religious fundamentalists. She has never been recovered.
