Very Funny website about Chitral

I am surprised that I have not noticed this before, but I just discovered a very funny website about Chitral. It is entitled "Kalash People's Literature". It is at http://www.indigenouspeople.org/natlit/chitral.htm

It says: "I dedicate this page to my good friend, Sher Malik, his family, and to his people, the Kalash tribe ('mountain people')."

As just about everyone on this group probably knows, Sher Malik is not Kalash, not Kalash at all. Also, the Kalash People do not have any literature, unfortunately.

The next seven paragraphs are a copy of something I wrote, without attribution, but I do not mind, as people are always copying my stuff.

What I find so funny is that the primary point of this website is an appeal to the government to tear down the hotels which have recently been built in the Kalash valleys. The website says: "Please appeal to the Pakistani government to help us remove these hotels from our midst."

This is signed by three people, the aforementioned Sher Malik, who lives in Bronx, New York, USA, "Ms. B, Lakshan" and "Mr. M. Ayub, Village Batrick, Bomborat, Chitral, Pakistan".

I do not know who Ms. B or who Mr. M. Ayub is, but I doubt that they are Kalash and want the hotels torn down.

The website ends with links to Abdul Khaliq, a new member of our group. Abdul Khaliq really is Kalash and, since he owns one of the hotels, I doubt that he wants it torn down.

Finally, there is also a link to my page about Afiyat, who, Abdul Khaliq recently informed me, is now a wrinkled old lady and is no longer the most beautiful Kalash girl.

As to Sher Malik, my dictionary on page 133 explains the true relationship, when it says: "Sher Malik ma boko ushturetay".

If you can read that, you will understand.
