Sewell-Clapp Manufacturing Co. Tenth annual dinner-Hotel Sherman- Feb.23 1911.

My grandfather, Howard Creighton Sloan, is in this photo. Since my father, Leroy B. Sloan, was born on May 2, 1910, we know that his father was gainfully employed at the time of his birth.
My grandfather is, I believe, number seven back on the right hand side.
The 1920 census states the following about my grandfather: "Howard Sloan, White, 46, Born in Pennsylvania, Father Irish, born in Ireland, mother born in Pennsylvania, occupation stockkeeper, electrical industry. "
