Report regarding Petition for the Appointment of a Conservator for Dr. Marjorie Sloan

After my mother was kidnapped in Bangkok, Thailand on September 3, 1990, she was taken to Maryland. After she tried repeatedly to escape from the facility there, she was taken to South Carolina on November 11, 1990, the exact same day that I arrived in America in an effort to recover my kidnapped mother.

In South Carolina, just as I was on the verge of locating my mother, my brother filed a petition to be appointed her guardian and conservator.

Here is a report prepared in connection with that request. On an opposing page, a box is checked which says that she opposes the appointment of Creighton as either guardian or conservator. On the page here, when asked if she wants a guardian or conservator, she says: "I don't need any help, I can care for myself."

As to the reason why, she says of Creighton: "He's a younger person and has not shown too much interest in me."

Note that she is never asked whether she wants her eldest son, Sam, appointed as her guardian or conservator.

Also note that the report claims that she was not oriented as to time, because when asked what date it was, she said "February 28th or March 1st or something" whereas the actual date was February 27.
