I did not catch this when I first read it. Yes, indeed he can, because when John F. Kennedy was shot on November 22, 1963, Tom Dorsch was in MY APARTMENT.

It is often said that everybody can remember where they were when they first heard that Kennedy had been shot. I can remember. I had fallen asleep on the couch in the living room of my apartment at 2119 Carleton Street in Berkeley, California. Tom Dorsch was also living there. Bill Wyatt came in, woke me up and said to me "They shot Kennedy".

I ran for the TV. I think the TV belonged to Dorsch. I rarely watch TV.

I do not remember if Tom Dorsch was in the apartment at the moment this happened, but I remember that he was around and I can testify that, almost with doubt, Tom Dorsch did not shoot President Kennedy.
