Upon the annexed petition of Samuel H. Sloan duly verified the 11th day of August 2004 and upon the original designating petitions and upon all of the papers and proceedings had herein, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the respondents show cause before this Court at a Special Election Part I thereof to be held at the County Courthouse in the Borough of Brooklyn at 360 Adams Street, Brooklyn, New York in Room 524 on the 13 day of August, 2004 at 9:30 AM of that day or as soon thereafter as counsel can be heard why an order should not be made and entered herein granting a petition for rehearing and restoring this case to the calendar.
Sufficient Cause appearing therefore, it is further
ORDERED, that Service of a Copy of this Order to Show Cause, together with a copy of the papers upon which it is granted on the respondents constituting the Board of Elections of the City of New York by leaving a copy thereof at the New York City Board of Elections at 32 Broadway, 7th Floor, New York NY on or before the 12 day of August 2004 and that personal service pursuant to CPLR 308 (1) of the Order to Show Cause together with a copy of the papers upon which it is granted upon the respondents CHARLES E. KNAPP, GARY SINAWSKI and KING'S COUNTY INDEPENDENCE PARTY on or before the 12 day of August, 2004 be deemed good and sufficient service thereof.
