Signers of Sam Sloan's petition to run for USCF Executive Board
When I ran for policy board in 1996, I promised those who signed my petition that I would do everything I could to prevent their names from being revealed. When I circulated my petitions to recall Redman, Warren, Barry and Pechac from the Executive Board, I promised never to reveal the names of those who signed until I had collected the required 75 signatures, and I have not done so.
However, I made no such promise when I circulated my petition a week and a half ago to run for Executive Board. The signers for the most part seemed aware that I am not popular with the USCF political insiders.
International Master Asa Hoffmann, when he signed my petition, said: "I know that I am going to be placed on some sort of blacklist for signing this, but I don't care."
Here is the list. You will note that the list contains a high proportion of international grandmasters, masters and other strong players.
